Besides time, joint and muscle pains are some of the biggest reasons people give for not exercising. However, it should be one of the main reasons that people DO exercise.
While a general exercise program is better than none at all, one that appeals to your specific injury or source of pain is better. A little known fact is that, ongoing joint and muscle aches and pains don't come from where the pain is. Unless an acute injury, the source is usually coming from somewhere else.
Our movement screenings can help locate that source. Once the source has been located we can set you up with the right set of exercises that can help with those problem areas. Sometimes that requires taking you 1, 2, 3 or even four or more steps backwards, just so that you can move 10 steps forward.
In addition, our movement screenings can help find potential problem areas and then can help work to fix them before they actually do become a problem, such as in the middle of your sports season.
Having someone with the right experience and the right knowledge can make all the difference on, if and when you'll need your next injection, if and when you'll need your next surgery or if and when you'll need to go to the doctor again.
